That's why there are exclusive license rights. I've had a few non-exclusive images licensed for book covers from my archive within the same year and three of them were book cover duplicates. Not that many people buy exclusive rights in order to save some money, but IMO it's well worth it. Having a duplicate cover can hurt author's reputation and sales.
Tax bad foods and then use that tax money to subsidise good foods. How hard can that be to implement?Keep the tax level balanced so that there is enough incentive to avoid the bad stuff but enough personal choice so that there is not too much of an explosion about having a nanny state. Realistically though, if we have publicly funded health benefits, the government can afford to be draconian about tax as a disincentive.Educating people and changing the culture so that it goes down well is the hard bit.

First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Kudos!
Don't know what to do with that 7025 Alu insertion that is "default" for all the mtDNA tree. If it's truly that default, then it should not be considered an insertion but a deletion at the root of H and nothing else. So far, apart of the claim by Caramelli in 2003, I have not seen any other evidence that this insertion/deletion is really informative. Sometimes a mutation that once was believed to be informative is found to behave chaotically and be irrelevant for lineage mapping. I wonder if it is the case with this one.
I saw Jeannie Baker's exhibition of Where the Forest Meets the Sea when I was in Tassie at their art centre. I was escaping from the Olympics in 2000 and the exhibition was breathtaking. I've been hooked on her books ever since but those kelp forests are still awe-inspiring. Can't wait to see this one.
