What specific type of shoe were you using? It sounds like the shoes you selected may have been too small for you… or you may have had the pedals or seat post in an ill-fitting position. It’s hard to say. I’ve never had my feet totally fall apart with SPD shoes, but I have had numbing in my hands due to the fact that my handlebars were too low and too far forward (a similar problem, perhaps?)

I heart semi-colons. But they are used incorrectly all the time.Here’s one: insure vs ensure. I think people find “insure” a more familiar word because of, well, “insurance.” The two have become almost interchangeable in the US because of the over-use of “insure”; consequently, I make a point of using “ensure” whenever possible.And yes! The semi-colon does go outside the quotation marks.

I took an online class and it was a complete joke. I got an A and I never opened the book. I would have gained so much more if I had to attend a lecture. Also class dialoge and discussions play a great role in classroom learning.

also cutting power takes out water in many buildings, which leaves people without drinking water or working toilets unless they prepped beforehandI think it was partly a drill, a lot of agencies trying to show how much they had learned
