Who do I have more faith in to do something productive for the city of Los Angeles, Tim Leiweke or the LA City Council? I’ll take my chances with Leiweke. This city has been paralyzed dealing with the NFL because it’s stuck with the Coliseum (which the city won’t loosen its grip on and allow private sector efforts to convert to a useful yet historical facility). We deserve an NFL team or two and AEG is the group to make a run at it. Commenters say that Staples is elitist!?! Would you rather being going to the Forum or Sports Arena to watch NBA basketball??
I finally saw Magic Mike and don’t understand Filmdrunk’s obsession with it. The movie has more plot holes that the Prequels. The movie escalates to an interesting point then all of a sudden they must have been running low on paper and finished the movie in 2 pages. Tatum’s love interest is an awful actress and their dialogue together is awful.
Amidst my chronic daily pain (a headache for almost 9 years now), it’s music that makes me the most happy. Being at a concert, especially. It allows me to lift up and out of my body and feel other emotions instead of just pain.
Nbob, drugs and witchcraft are equally useless when it comes to this otherwise I’d be sitting here playing Left 4 Dead instead of wasting my time trawling the internet on a fine winter’s afternoon like today. This might go on the Wait for DVD list, so that I can pause/retch over the balcony at my leisure, without offending the movie-going public.
