Io credo che a Trier interessino i contenuti. Sul metodo con cui girare film si è sempre contraddetto, venendo meno ai patti da lui stesso stipulati. Così come distrugge la ritualità del matrimonio, distrugge la ritualità del cinema. Crea una struttura iniziale, poi se ne frega. Fare un film sulla fine del mondo con la telecamera appiccicata ai volti dei protagonisti è geniale.

Yes! I've been saying that movies are terrible dates for years. And I always get strange looks, as if I'm just silly for thinking that a movie is a bad first/second/third/etc, date. I'm glad to know someone agrees with me. Thankfully, I haven't been asked out on a movie date yet!
