It is not all that complicated.Some students are still considered depedents even though they don’t live with their parents, so they have to use their parents income. So makes a minimum of three in the house hold for your children in this case.However, it sounds like your children are NOT your dependents any more so your household is only 2. Your best bet is to look into other awards.
